Marvel Studios has finally given us a sneak peek of what’s to come in the film Black Panther by releasing the first poster! Not only that, but Marvel also state that a teaser trailer for the upcoming film will be released tonight during Game 4 of the NBA Finals. As you know, Marvel has been slowly releasing clips of Spider-man: Homecoming throughout the entire course of NBA Finals games.

Black Panther is the story of T’Challa who returns to his home in Wakanda to take his place as King. As you remember, his father was killed during the events of Captain America: Civil War and thanks to his advanced technology, T’Challa is now in charge of Bucky’s restoration. During his new reign, an old enemy appears and threatens his identities as King and the Black Panther, while the entire fate of Wakanda is put at risk.

While Marvel has failed in giving us a female-centered superhero, they were not to be upstaged and are giving us material to be excited about with a mostly all-black cast superhero film. Starring Chadwick Boseman (T’Challa), Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead), Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out), Angela Bassett (London Has Fallen), Andy Serkis (The Hobbit), and Martin Freeman (Sherlock).

Ryan Coogler (Creed) directs the stunning cast and story and is expected to grace your movie theaters February 16th, 2018 in the US and 15th for the Caribbean.
